CBRE Romania redefines Industrial & Logistics advisory: from site selection to operational strategy
June 13, 2026
The Industrial & Logistics team at CBRE Romania is bringing a new approach to the local market, one that moves beyond traditional real estate brokerage toward consultancy built around the client's actual operational needs, not around available inventory.
In a market where decisions on factories, logistics centers, and regional hubs require months of analysis and involve significant capital, CBRE Romania applies a structured methodology: before any property search begins, the team analyzes the client's operations, infrastructure requirements, workforce availability, growth trajectory, and long-term logistics costs.
Romania as a regional strategic hub
At The Economist Roundtable in Bucharest, Răzvan Iorgu, Managing Director of CBRE Romania, outlined the direction in which the local market is heading: "Romania is moving from a catch-up position to a connector (...) Stand here in Bucharest and draw a circle with a radius of 1,000 kilometres. Inside that circle you will find eleven countries and over 100 million people”.
This positioning, combined with nearshoring trends and the reshaping of European supply chains, is transforming Romania into a strategic node between Central Europe, the Balkans, the Black Sea, and the Middle East.
A team with complementary expertise, equipped for complex transactions
The industrial & logistics department at CBRE Romania brings together consultants with complementary expertise spanning leasing, investment, built-to-suit development, industrial land, and operational optimization.
