The overall Hawaii office market showed signs of positivity in the 4th quarter of 2018. The vacancy rate on Oahu decreased 160 basis points (bps) from 15.3% in Q3 to 13.7% in Q4, which is the lowest vacancy rate for Oahu since 2010. Kapiolani had the largest decrease in vacancy of any submarket, down 390 bps to 11.6%.
