Starting with November, Tudor Ionescu will take over the position of Head of Advisory & Transaction Services, Office Sector within CBRE Romania. Tudor has over 17 years of experience in the design, office and hospitality industry.

The decision to promote Tudor marks the evolution of CBRE Romania's office department towards the provision of integrated real estate services, based on commercial, technical and architectural knowledge, to which the extended expertise on rental services is added, both for the local and for the global clients.

„It is a definite paradigm shift that we believed in and therefore acted upon. As market leaders, we are defined by actions and we go beyond intentions when we wish to prove our theory right. The office sector is about more than square meters, it is about people and their work experience. This is why we commit to continue providing excellent services through the promotion of Tudor, who has been specializing in CBRE Workplace Consultancy projects in Romania, Austria and the Netherlands for the past two years”, stated Razvan Iorgu, Managing Director, CBRE Romania.

As Head of Advisory & Transaction Services for the office sector of CBRE Romania, Tudor Ionescu will work closely with the two managers within the department, Alina Calciu, responsible with the Occupier Services and Vlad Damian, for the Investor Leasing segment.

Tudor Ionescu joined the CBRE Romania team in 2017, laying the foundations of the workplace consultancy division, responsible for identifying the appropriate concepts and work solutions for companies that endeavor making their office work more efficient.

„The office space is evolving constantly, along with the structural evolution of companies, technology and our personal development. When clients relocate or plan a new working space, they need more complex competencies such as understanding the space as a personalized experience, taking into account the philosophy, the dynamics and the precise modus operandi of each team. I am happy to have the opportunity of coordinating this strategy, implemented by CBRE for the first time on the local real estate market”, added Tudor Ionescu, Head of Advisory & Transaction Services, Office, CBRE Romania.

According to CBRE Research data, between 2020 and 2021 the Bucharest market is expected to deliver a total area of over 630,000 sqm of offices, concentrated in the northern, western and central areas of Bucharest, where an estimated number of up to 50-65,000 employees are expected to work.
